Whats a good brain supplement?

My brain tends to shut down at about four o’clock in the aftermoon, and when I say shut down, I mean it turns into complete cotton wool.
I hate drinking coffee and energy drinks because they’re so bad for you, so does anyone know of any good supplements/foods that can help boost brain activity?
When I do go for an energy drink, I’d usually go for this one which has ginseng in it cause it seems to work the best, has anyone any experience taking ginseng as a supplement?

Ginseng Feedback: I’ve heard that Ginko Biloba is suppose to help with memory and increase blood flow to the brain. Don’t know if this it true but there has been a lot of talk about this herbal supplement.
