my uncle use to go sang hunting and would come back with a bag of roots .i don’t know what the plant looks like but it must grow wild in the woods… we live in Ohio

I know that Wisconsin is known for their ginseng, considering I live there. I don’t know anything about what area you’re located in so it’s hard to say where you can go pick it from. I really don’t think that ginseng is expensive though.

Ginseng Feedback: First you should confirm with yr doctor which wild ginseng he means – American ginseng or Korean ginseng. They have different function or different illness.
The best way is buy ginseng in Chinese herbal medicine store (in China town). If you have chinese or korean friends, ask them.
