Dangers of multiple supplements?

Can you answer vreckle26′s question about Ginseng?:

I am taking a few multivitamins and supplements…..gingko, ginseng, flax seed, daily multivitamin, and green tea extract. The multivitamin exceeds the recommended daily allowance in some vits/mineals. (300% vit E and thiamin, 400% vit c). Are there any specific vitamins and/or minerals that you definitely should not exceed the daily allowance? What are the dangers?

Ginseng Feedback: Dangers of multiple supplements?

next to none…the body has no true storage capacity for most micronutrients (vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants). the body will use what it needs for the moment and excrete the rest. this is one of the many reasons why consuming many smaller meals over the course of the day is important. only fat soluble vitamins can build up in the body

Ginseng Feedback: magnesium and zinc it can mess you up if you take to much
i took zma and a multivitamin and i felt like shit everytime i did that
the zma has lik 700% above the daily allowance of magnesium and zinc and the mutivitamin had zinc and magnesium in it
unless it was the vitamin b6 in it idk but yeah its screws you up if you have to much of that stuff
