If liver yang is rising excessively, a TCM doctor may prescribe herbs that calm the rising yang. Maybe chrysanthemum, white peony (bai shao), pearl (zhen zhu mu), etc.
If it’s wind, the doctor may have to expel it with lovage (chuan xiong), peppermint, etc.
