As long as no cirrhosis (scarring) has occurred, you'll be fine as long as you stop drinking. Side note- drinking at least 2 cups of coffee a day has been linked with a 43% reduction in liver, as it helps to prevent cirrhosis. Milk Thistle has generally been accepted to be good for the liver. But- if you stop drinking, then don't worry about it! The liver regenerates quite well so long as there's no scarring.
