Ginseng Feedback: If the herbs are prescribed in order to counter loss of appetite or other digestive problems that are manifesting as weight LOSS, then yes, they can assist with gaining the weight back (i.e. increase appetite and modify metabolism accordingly).

However, herbal remedies prescribed for other reasons, such as allergies, pain, OBGYN issues, etc. do not result in unwanted weight gain. This is not a side effect associated with these medications.

Ginseng Feedback: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be used for most types of problems. If you are looking to gain weight, then selected Chinese herbs can be used to re-balance your body to enable it to gain weight if it is underweight.

If you are taking these bitter liquid herbal teas for something else and are worried about gaining weight from it… do not worry, gaining weight is not a normal side affect from those teas.
