Are there people who should not take ginseng?

Answered By Glenda Fiddler, Editor

Ginseng is not suited for individuals who are eager to experience its efficacy. The use of this herb is not tolerable for all types of conditions. It is not good for people who undergo night sweat, insomnia, mental restlessness, dry mouth and throat, persistent fever and those with high blood pressure and heart deficiency.

In addition, pregnant women are not also allowed to take Ginseng. Likewise it is not also recommended for children.
